A 6-Week Creative Journey to Foster Growth & Emotional Well-being

Unleash Creativity, Boost Confidence, and Navigate Big Feelings!

Does your child love to draw, paint, or craft? Are you looking for a way to help them express themselves, build self-esteem, and cope with their emotions in a fun and supportive environment? EXPRESSIONS is the perfect space for your young artist to explore their feelings through creativity!

In EXPRESSIONS, Your Child Will:

  • Increase Self-Expression: Learn to articulate emotions through various art forms.

  • Build Self-Esteem: Gain confidence in their abilities and self-worth.

  • Foster Creativity: Experiment with different materials and techniques.

  • Cope with Big Feelings: Develop healthy ways to manage and express emotions.

Middle school can be a challenging time, filled with changes, pressures, and the growing influence of social media. emPOWERED is here to provide a safe space for young teens to explore their self-worth, build confidence, and foster positive relationships.

In emPOWERED Your Teen Will:

  • Increase Self-Expression: Learn to communicate feelings and thoughts effectively.

  • Boost Self-Esteem: Discover and celebrate personal strengths and qualities.

  • Adopt Healthy Views of Self: Develop a positive and realistic self-image.

  • Process Social Media’s Influence: Understand and navigate social media’s impact on self-esteem.

  • Enhance Self-Love: Practice self-compassion and appreciation.

  • Build Community: Connect with peers in a supportive and understanding environment.

Multi-family Groups

At ARISE we believe your whole family deserves healing, hope, and community.

We have found the Multifamily Group Therapy Model to be one of the most efficient and effective therapeutic approaches to support overall wellness for the entire family!

For these family groups, we invite all caregivers, individuals, and siblings to join in the healing process. Not only will you gain a sense of community with other families who are experiencing similar challenges, your entire family will leave these groups feeling:

  • Better prepared to cope with feelings of anxiety and depression

  • More connected and bonded as a family system and community

  • A reduction in family conflict and increased positive communication and interactions

  • Equipped with the skills to support each other during life’s challenges

    During our Family CBT group, we invite all caregivers, individuals, and siblings grade 6th-12th to join in the healing process. Learning skills to cope with life’s challenges as a family is one of the most effective ways to ensure healing and family connection.

    Over the course of 10 sessions, your family will learn about:

    • Anxiety and depression

    • The cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) model

    • Relaxation and mindfulness skills

    • Recognizing automatic negative thoughts (ANTs) and how to reframe them into more helpful thoughts

    • Behavioral activation: How getting active improves our mood

    • Exposure: How facing our fears helps us manage anxiety and overcome avoidance

    10 weeks

    Mondays from 5:30pm-7:00pm, In-person

  • SAVE YOUR SPOT !

    The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) teaches–and has caregivers and youth practice–skills involved in bonding (creating warm, loving relationships), setting clear, firm boundaries, and monitoring their children’s emotional well-being and activities. Skill practice creates new prosocial habit patterns in the brain, which helps improve behavior, strengthens the parent-child relationship, and helps a child feel loved. 

    Over the course of 10 sessions, families will learn skills to:

    • Increase family bonding

    • Increase parental involvement

    • Increase positive parenting skills

    • Increase positive communication

    • Increase family organization

    • Decrease family conflict

    • Decrease youth depression

    • Decrease youth aggression

    • Increase youth cooperation

    • Increase number of prosocial friends and social competencies

    Who: Caregivers and individuals ages 7-17

    10 weeks

    Wednesdays from 5:30pm-7:00pm, In-person
